Recap Week 7

As we all know, golf is a game of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, as Mike Bradley can attest, going from 3 points in Week 6 to 14 this week. For his effort, Mike captured individual and team honors and attained his goal of not getting shut out this year. He's off the schniede.

And just when we thought they went into the Witness Protection Program, Don Dillon, Peter Jaffe, and Marshall Poverman emerged from the shadows
to shoot some impressive golf. Don was +5, Peter +3 and team honors and Marshall +2. They must have been taking lessons all this time.  (Sorry Don, +5 is usually good enough to win, but you ran up against Mr. Hyde.)

Rick Walsh figured he had his second consecutive CTP at 2 feet on the 2nd hole after being on in two and making a great downhill eagle attempt, but  it was not to be as Greg Willard eagled the hole, and you can't do better than 0'0". Greg vaults past Rick into second place on the money board. The Willard family of mutual funds continues to pay handsome dividends. Captain Naimo had a nice night with birdies on 2 (covered) and 4 and earned $45 for his deft putting. Birdies on 6 (Jaffe, Turchette) and 9 (Bradley,Spears) were covered.

We've had 15 sign up for the steak dinner next Tuesday which will be right after golf. When you sign in at the pro shop for golf, there will be a sheet with your name on it to check off, and pay $15 at the desk, cash or card. If anyone else wants in, let me know before Friday because Easton is ordering food based on the total response.

We're sorry to hear that long-time SIGLer Scott Bamford will not be able to play the rest of the year. He might not be the best golfer in the league, but he's always been the most boisterous and always a pleasure to play with. Whenever you're ready to  return Scott, just let us know.

And finally, Bino is slated for surgery on Thursday, June 14th so let's wish him well, and drop him a line during his recuperation. Hang in there, Johnny.
