Recap Week 5

I was sitting at home as I watched the clock hit 6:01PM on Saturday May 21 "Judgement Day" and yelled I'm gonna live....I'm gonna live, then I hear just until October 21. Who is this idiot Harold Camping who keep telling people the world is going to end? People actually spent there life savings only to have him say my bad.
The SIGL is alive and well as we finally had good golfing weather.
Larosa was cruising along until the 6th hole when his tee shot landed what looked like just over the pond. We have all been there at one time or another to look for balls that we thought made it over, but this time what looked like anaconda slithered up and let's just say it rattled Larosa's nerves and his game. "Snakes....I hate Snakes"
I saw many golfers with swing oil in there hands as the cart girl was keeping everyone happy.
LB, back from his 90 hole golfing excursion in Maine scorched the front 9 with 3 birdies that all held. Ed MacNeil has his best round of the year to collect top honors and also had a birdie on 5 that held.
On a serious note our thoughts and prayers go out to Marshall Poverman who's wife has a serious illness.

Recap Week 4

I entered the Pro Shop to purchase my ticket for a 2 hour Duck Tour of Easton CC with psycho Bradley at the helm. I gave a quack...quack...to the other amphibious vehicles passing by.
Golf has become very difficult the past few weeks with mother nature not giving us a break.
Lots of no-shows, but I give credit to all that did especially Ted Meyer who must have missed the weather forecast, came to the course dressed in shorts as if it were a sunny day and was the last to finish. He entered the clubhouse needing windshield wipers to wipe the rain off his glasses.
Mercado shook the rain off like a dog coming in from his walk. I'm not supposed to write bad things about him as I have been warned, I will be cut.
Bradley managed to hit a tree on every hole and if he didn't find his Pro V1 on the last hole was going to commit Hari Kari.
Unlike the Bishop on Caddyshack I was not having the round of my life so there was no need to continue on.
The team sheet vanished without a trace from the porch post and with LB enjoying a few days in Maine golfing, do not have access. The weather forecast is much better with only a 90% chance of rain in the state of Maine, golf should be as much fun as it has been in Easton.
Good Luck LB!!!
I just saw the long range forecast for next Tuesday. Sunny in the 80's. I'll believe it when I see it.

Recap Week 2

The Kentucky Derby is coming this weekend and Stefanick and Guyder had to borrow horse blinders to keep from watching Lacasse and Ippolito as both never got out of the gate. The wind was a factor in week 2, but it did not bother Kelly as his birdie on 3 held and also collected top honors to jump to the top of the money leader board. Walsh arrived to the course and got the Doug Mirabelli escort to the first tee. He had one good shot and it was on the closest to the pin which paid. He did wake up and torched his partners for skins on the back 9. Tibbetts find his way to a familiar spot on the money board. Larosa shivered his way to a 79 while making some incredible putts from long distance. Raynard's best hole was the 19th.
