Recap Week 4

It was a sunny beautiful day...Oh wait that was last week. It was a cold windy rainy crappy day that engulfed the Easton CC with thunder and lighting not far away. Two members were seen running off the course with echos of "Run Forest Run". The rest of us braved the conditions as we've had to so often in the past. This was a fine way to welcome our newest member Paul Begley.
Mark Spears navigated his way around the course and collected top honors with a +5 and collected on team money with John Macneil who came in even.
Our fearless leader just missed and eagle on 2, but easily tapped in his birdie putt which held to get him on the money board. He almost had CTP when he stuck it to 6'4" only to have his playing partner Ed Finn top him with 5'9". Ed had a bad day overall, but you never know in this league it only takes that one birdie or approach shot to collect money and ease the pain.
Dave Weber continues to play solid golf no matter what the conditions are, with his 3rd straight plus on his quota.
Jurgy makes a quick recovery off the DL with a little help from his therapist...he heard something pop in his back in a good way and hopefully that did the trick.
Shot of the day goes to Mike Bradley who from 220 yards against the wind on 18 hits a bullet to 6' and sinks the birdie putt.
Slow play is not allowed in this league...play ready golf!!!!
LB will be back with the recap next week if he survives his marathon of golf in Maine.

See you Tuesday

Bino
