Recap Week 1

I'd like to welcome all the new members who showed up on what we hope is not a repeat of last year with the weather creating a miserable first half of the season. The 19th hole was a little hard to hear with the big dig construction going on, but it was great meeting all and with some characters from the Peterson group this year should be a lot of fun.
My group just beat the rain and as I sat at the table, one wet rat came in after another to turn in their score card. It wasn't pretty!!!
The round of the week goes to our fearless leader Larry Barry, who played through the winter and has found an early groove, he has jumped out to be our money leader.
Billy Karas missed a near ace on the 4th hole, but sank the birdie putt which held.
Bradley had a rough week, playing with a new driver he bought online. He's looking for the return policy only to find out no refunds.
Mercado wanted to pay for the league dues in food stamps. Guyder ran out of checks.
The birdie pool is the way to make money in this league so if your not in, you should rethink. Those who haven't paid see Frank Larosa, he's the guy with his hand out.
I'm going to have a talk with the weather man so next week should be sunny in the 70's.
